Later, visit the famous Kempty Falls. This falls was developed as a tourist destination by a British officer John Mekinan, around 1835. The name Kempty is probably derived from the word 'camp-tea', as the British, during the colonial rule, would organize their tea parties here. Go boating on Naukuchiatal Lake, Naini Lake, Sattal and Bhimtal (at your own cost), before you proceed to famous view point Tiffin Top (AKA Dorothy’s Seat), located at an altitude of 2292 m. Just a few kilometres from here and you'll come into yet another view point called Lands End. This route takes you through woods of pine, deodar and oak.
