We start with the town of Eklingji where you can find the famous Eklingji Temple. It has been dubbed as the spiritual center of Mewar, a complex that was originally finished in the 8th century with 108 temples inside. It has been attacked several times and saw several changes of sect ownership, but the architecture remains a wonder to behold. Eklingji is a form of Shiv. In close proximity is Nathdwara, a town that’s very well known for its architectural feats and religious significance. It’s most known for the a 14th century temple of Lord Krishna with a Shrinathji idol in 7-year-old form of Lord Krishna. We’ll ride back to Udaipur after exploring Nathdwara in the evening to visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum where we can see their unique collections of traditional artefacts, jewellery, ornaments, and many more traditionally important objects. Prepare for an evening trip to Lake Pichola and at an extra cost, you can even boat through the waters to enjoy the view. As the sun slowly sinks in the horizon, it turns the lakeside buildings and your surrounding golden. You can see the City Palace in the east and the gardens in the south. Enjoy your breakfast today before we head out on a full-day excursion to Chittorgarh. We’re going to finally be where tales sung by Bards of Rajasthan all originate from. It is hard not to know about Chittorgarh Fort which is a hilltop hill that became the symbol of Rajput culture, a massive structure that saw the history and sacrifices of heroes of Rajput times. One can also see the seven gates throughout the 700-acre fort, each with their own names: Padan Gate, Ganesh Gate, Hanuman Gate, Bhairon Gate, Jodla Gate, Lakshman Gate, and Lord Ram Gate. Also known as the Water Fort, it is often targeted due to the strategic location of the fort that made it almost impenetrable. At the same time, there are many palaces and life inside the fort is comfortable as it contains 84 bodies of water and 22 of them still exist today. There’s a lot to see inside the fort and we’ll visit some of them. The Padmini Palace is a white building from the 19th century where Rani Padmini lived after marrying Rawal Ratan Singh in 1300 CE. Another palace is the Rana Kumbha Palace near the entrance gate, by the Victory Tower “Vijay Stambha.”. The Fateh Prakash Palace inside the fort has been converted into a museum that houses a range of ancient artifacts in the form of old coins, sculptures and other crafts. The 8th century Kalika Mata Temple still stands inside the fort with new parts added much later. The Meera Bai Temple is another old Hindu temple dedicated to Meera Bai who was a devotee of Lord Krishna. Another notable tower is the Kirti Stambha from the 12th century by a Jain merchant to celebrate Jainism. It features fantastic sculptures of Hindu deities and stores from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. After the fort, it’s time to explore the nature of this land by visiting Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a wildlife sanctuary with dry forests that are natural habitats for Dhok, Churel, Butea, wild cats, civets, hyenas, foxes, Chitals, and more. We can ride through the sanctuary to see the Bassi and Orai Dams that formed reservoirs where animals frequently visit for water. We’ll ride back to the hotel in the evening for your overnight stay in Udaipur

Achalgarh, Mount Abu 307501, Rajasthan
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we head out for a full-day sightseeing in Mt. Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station known not just for the stunning architecture, but also wondrous, panoramic view ant earned it the title “Oasis of Rajasthan.” We’ll start the full-day sightseeing around this gorgeous mountain with the Dilwara Jain Temple. It has such a stunning architectural achievement made of white marbles and feature intricate carvings of lotuses, gods, and abstract patterns. The white tone is in line with the Svetambara branch the Dilwara temple is part of. We’ll get a good look of the Ranga Mandapa, the dome ceiling that has a chandelier-shaped structure where 16 stone idols of Vidyadevi are at. Up the Aravalli Range is the peak of Guru Shikhar, the highest point of the mountain range which is about 15km from Mt. Abu. Up here, we can see the Mt. Abu Observatory as well as a cave temple of Lord Vishnu, Guru Dattatreya. The observatory has a great view of the night sky, bragging about 150 cloud-free nights every year and is equipped with a 1.2m Infrared telescope. Meanwhile the temple is a famous pilgrimage destination, built on the side of the mountain. Up next is the village of Achalgarh, a beautiful small community best known to be where the Achalgarh Fort and Achaleshwar Temple were built. You can see the Achalgarh Fort, now dilapidated since it was reconstructed in 1452, on a mountain top about 11km from Mt. Abu. Built just outside the fort is an old temple of over 2500 years old, the Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple, supposedly built during the Paramara dynasty, who were the original builders of what used to be the Achalgarh Fort before it was reconstructed. This temple houses a four-tone Nandi statue made of five different metals from gold, silver, copper, brass, and zinc. Then we carefully climb up 365 steep stairs up to visit the Adhar Devi Temple. This temple was chiseled out of a giant rock and has an exquisite view of Mt. Abu, a perfect resting place while enjoying the atmosphere. Visit the Art Gallery to see recovered and preserved Jain bronze carvings dated back to the 8th to 12th century, excavated from nearby archaeological sites. The gallery also houses rich collections of brass works that were discovered around this land, an exquisite showcase of art and culture from hundreds of years ago. The day grows late as we slowly make our way to Honeymoon Point, also locally known as Anadara Point to enjoy the scenery. Unwind and rest here or snap some pictures with the Nakki Lake and Old Mt. Abu Gateway as your backdrop. Get ready for a boating trip at Nakki Lake in the evening at extra cost to enjoy the view. We drive back for an overnight stay at your hotel after a long, fulfilling day in Mt. Ab
