Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today as we prepare to set out on a day excursion to historical sites around Nathdwara and Eklingji. We start with the town of Eklingji where you can find the famous Eklingji Temple. It has been dubbed as the spiritual center of Mewar, a complex that was originally finished in the 8th century with 108 temples inside. It has been attacked several times and saw several changes of sect ownership, but the architecture remains a wonder to behold. Eklingji is a form of Shiv. In close proximity is Nathdwara, a town that’s very well known for its architectural feats and religious significance. It’s most known for the a 14th century temple of Lord Krishna with a Shrinathji idol in 7-year-old form of Lord Krishna. We’ll ride back to Udaipur after exploring Nathdwara in the evening to visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum where we can see their unique collections of traditional artefacts, jewellery, ornaments, and many more traditionally important objects. Prepare for an evening trip to Lake Pichola and at an extra cost, you can even boat through the waters to enjoy the view. As the sun slowly sinks in the horizon, it turns the lakeside buildings and your surrounding golden. You can see the City Palace in the east and the gardens in the south. Head back to the hotel afterward for your overnight stay in Udaipur.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we head out. Get ready for a full-day sightseeing around Udaipur to get a taste of the legacy and history of this city. We’ll start from the City Palace of Udaipur, Rajasthan’s largest royal complex where Kings used to call home. Visitors can explore the various mahals, courtyards and pavilions built in this complex. Up at the highest point of the complex is the Amar Vilas that’s known for the beautiful hanging gardens. We’ll then visit Fateh Prakash Palace as well, a breathtaking site with an amazing view. Check out the inside of the Krishna Vilas chamber that houses a collection of miniature paintings. The elegant Manak Mahal lives up to its name, adorned with many red colored glass and mosaic. The Mor Chowk is a beautiful court that was built during the reign of Rana Karan Singhji. The Sheesh Mahal is a luxurious hotel that’s a pride of Udaipur. Near the edge of the City Palace is the Zenana Mahal which has been restored as a hotel. It used to serve as the palace for the royal ladies. We also won’t miss out on Sheesh Mahal and Rang Bhawan that brags exquisite view.Then we’ll head over to the Jagdish Temple in Udaipur, a Hindu temple that’s been worshipped since 1651. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu who’s also known as the preserver of the universe. It is a Mewar dynasty’s architectural achievement as the 79-feet tall structure adorn the skyline of Udaipur.Then visit Vintage Car Museum where any vintage car enthusiasts will love to check out their antique car collection. There are around 20 of them with 4 Rolls-Royce’s, 2 Cadillacs, and a lot of convertibles.We’ll make a photo stop at Nehru Garden which is located on an island within Fateh Sagar Lake. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the artificial lake surrounded by Aravalli Hills and the calming ride to the island in the middle. Nehru Garden is a floating restaurant with garden in the shape of a boat. Then we head to the gardens on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, the Courtyard of Maiden. These gardens are built under the embankment of the lake and has beautiful lotus pools, marble pavilions and elephants, built in 1734 for the royal ladies. It was a present from Maharana Sangram Singh for his queen and her 48 maids.Visit the craftsmen of Shilpgram where you can watch men at work, demonstrating their dexterity in handcrafting. This heritage village was established in 1989 has audio-visual centers with documentaries on the history and tradition of Indian art and craft. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we leave for a city tour in Jodhpur. We’ll head out to visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort, also known as the “Citadel of the Sun”. This famous tourist spot covers over 1,200 acres of land in Jodhpur, a huge complex constructed in 1459 and continued to be developed with most of the prominent features we see now originating from the 17th century. Finally, we’ll go see the beautiful gardens of Jaswant Thada, which is a cenotaph built in 1899 to remember Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The gazebos and architecture of this place are truly stunning. Afterward, evening will be for you to explore the place on your own before we head back to your hotel in Jodhpur for overnight stay. Take an impressive walk through the home of the royal family from hundreds of years ago, Umaid Bhawan Palace. Today, part of this historic buildings has been converted into a hotel and museum and is one of the world’s largest private residences. Check out their vintage car collection and old clocks made through different periods of time at the museum. After spending the sunset here while we enjoy the view, we head back to the hotel in evening for overnight stay in Jodhpur.
