After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 02 Hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100 Ft / 3994 Mts / 16 Kms in 01 Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 03 Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. Back to Gangtok by evening and Overnight at Hotel. Also visit the important trade route of Nathula Pass. Located around 56 kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 14450 ft, the road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo Lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and surrounded by alpine flora. Currenly, it is only domestic tourists that are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see and extend your handshake with Chinese soldiers on the other side. Return to Gangtok. Spend the evening in Gangtok for some recreational activities such as shopping and a delicious local dinner. SITES VISITED: Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. Overnight in Gangtok. Vehicle Regulation Notice for Nathula Pass:- Due to recent regulations by the Indian Army, small vehicles are no longer permitted to access Nathula Pass approximately 8.5 km (20 minutes) away. Consequently, guests arriving in smaller cars will be grouped into larger, government-approved vehicles for the journey. These vehicles will take visitors to Nathula Pass, where they can enjoy their visit. Afterward, the vehicle will drop them off at the original pick-up spot, where their personal drivers will be waiting to take them further.

After breakfast, get ready for an excursion to the quiet town of Mirik (58 kms / 2 hrs). Nestled perfectly between Siliguri and Darjeeling, Mirik is a hill resort visited for its pleasant climate and secluded charm - check out the beautiful tea gardens, cardamom groves, vantage points from the famous, beautiful Mirik Lake and orange orchards. On the way, be sure to visit Pashupati Market (on the India-Nepal border) for shopping. Come back to Darjeeling and end your day with a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel.
