Enjoy your breakfast this morning before we head out on a local sightseeing in Delhi. We start by visiting the Laxminarayan Mandir which is where Vishnu’s incarnation, Laxminarayan, and his consort Lakshmi, resides. It was completed in 1939 and is about three-storey tall. Followed by Qutub Minar which is India’s tallest minaret located in the oldest fortified city of Delhi, Lal Kot, was built between 1199 and 1220. If it’s not Monday, we can also enter the magnificent Lotus Temple (closed on Monday) that’s become an icon, constructed with 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals”. The temple welcomes anyone of any religious to gather, worship, and chant scriptural writings regardless of language. After Delhi, we continue to ride for the cultural campus and house of worship of Akshardham Temple (closed on Monday) where Bhagwan Swaminarayan deity presides. A sacred site with stunning architectural feats which is a combined effort of 900 artisans. End the evening with a Light and Sound Show at Akshardham before we ride back to the hotel for your overnight stay in Delhi.

Enjoy your breakfast today before we start another adventurous day. We’ll go around Old Delhi and New Delhi, starting with the historical Red Fort. The Red Fort Complex was built as the palace fort of the new capital of the fifth Mughal Emperor, Shahjahanabad, in 1546. Tour around one of Delhi’s oldest forts, Purana Qila, which has a citadel built during Humayun and Afghan Sher Shah Suri. Many believe it is the former site of the ancient city of Indraprastha. The Qutub Minar which is India’s tallest minaret located in the oldest fortified city of Delhi, Lal Kot, was built between 1199 and 1220. After touring the famous old forts of Delhi, we’re going to visit the Chandni Chowk Market where you can shop of clothes, books, and many other items at bargain prices! After getting all your needs, we’re going to India Gate which is a war memorial to 84,000 soldiers that died during the First World War. The foundation stone was laid on 10 February, 1921. We’ll make one last stop at the Laxmi Narayan Mandir which is where Vishnu’s incarnation, Laxmi Narayan, and his consort Lakshmi, resides. It was completed in 1939 and is about three-storey tall. After the tour, we’ll drop you back at your hotel in Delhi for your overnight stay.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we set out on a half-day tour in Agra starting from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Taj Mahal that was built by Shah Jahan. It was built as a memorial for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal and it took him 22 years to complete the majestic mausoleum, designed by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Taj is highly regarded for the beautiful architecture, intricate carvings, immaculate inlay work. Next up is the Agra Fort which is notable for the red sandstone look. The fort is where Emperor Shah Jahan spent his last few years viewing Taj Mahal from afar as he was under house arrest by his third son, Aurangzeb. Agar Fort has its own magnificent palaces, gardens, and big halls. We’ll get to see the inside of Diwan-I-Am (public audience hall) and the Diwan-I-Khas (private audience hall) that were added by Shah Jahan later on. After the fort, we’re going to check out Baby Taj, Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, another Mughal mausoleum. It was built by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, highly praised for the marble trelliswork, in fact, the first one in Indian to be made entirely of marble. Enjoy your early breakfast at the hotel today before we head out. We’re going on a full-day excursion to Ajmer and Pushkar, with Ajmer comparatively bigger than Pushkar. While we’re here, we’re going to visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the dargah of Moinuddin Chishti. This is the tomb of Moinuddin Chishti from the 13th century, who was highly venerated throughout his reputation after arriving Delhi and later, Ajmer. Another site we’re going visit here is the Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, Ajmer’s oldest and historically rich mosque that was completed in 1192 by the commission of Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak. It was designed by Abu Bakr of Herat and is an exemplar mosque designed in Indo-Islamic style. Take a calming walk on the lakeside of Ana Sagar Lake, an artificial lake over 13 km wide with an island in the center of it, made in the 12th century after a dam was built on Luni River.Ajmer is the gateway to visit Pushkar, about 15km away, a famous, ancient Hindu pilgrimage city. It is home to more than 400 temples and we’re not going to miss the many ghats that can be seen here. We start from the center of the temples, the sacred Pushkar Lake, that’s believed to have medicinal properties for those who bath in one of the 52 bathing ghats. We’ll also be visiting the number of temples out of the hundreds that dot the surrounding of the lake. Rangji Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Vaikuntha Venkatesh or Lord Rangji, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. One of the most visually satisfying temples is the Man Mahal which features impressive Rajasthani architecture which also have gorgeous views of another nearby sacred lake. This palace cum hotel was built by Raja Man Singh I of Amber meant to serve as a temporary stay for his guests and himself when visiting Pushkar. Finally, we’re not going to miss the main attraction of Pushkar, the Temple of Lord Brahma, also known as Jagatpita Brahman Mandir, one of the rare, ancient temples dedicated to the Hindu Creator God. Then visit one last gorgeous pilgrimage site, Savitri Temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess Savitri. At the hilltop where you can get a dazzling view of Pushkar City and the surrounding mountain range when the weather is clear.We’ll head back to your hotel in the evening for your overnight stay in Jaipur.
